About Me.

Parker is a Transitional Deacon in the Diocese of Missouri of The Episcopal Church, within the Anglican Communion, currently serving at Pusey House and St Barnabas in Oxford England. Parker will be ordained a Priest in December 2024

Parker is a fifth generation “son of the soil.” After completion of his undergraduate degree Parker returned to his family agribusiness in southeast Missouri where he worked with his family in their row crop operation before transitioning to manage Cane Creek Sod which supplied turfgrass to box stores in 6 states along with sports fields and golf courses. In addition, Parker founded and managed a number of businesses that were directly dependent and focused on natural resources and environmental matters. During these years Parker oversaw and integrated numerous conservation stewardship initiatives and precision agricultural practices in order to increase efficiency, sustainability, and profitability. In this role Parker designed and developed agricultural landscapes and environmental restoration projects implementing water control structures, land correction and development for agricultural, ecological, and soil management purposes. In 2013 Parker co-founded Southland Irrigation, which designed, sold, and installed precision irrigation solutions for agricultural and municipal use specializing in integrated systems using center-pivot irrigation, variable rate technologies, remote pumping stations and web-based telemetry for remote monitoring and control in order to conserve water resources, increase efficiency and lower usage costs. Together with his father and brother, Parker founded Merritt Anderson in 2016, where he oversees the conservation purposes for mining and easement projects. Working with numerous land trusts they have permanently conserved and manage over 500 acres to date, protecting and restoring natural habitats for federally endangered species and crucial soils.

Parker earned a Bachelor of Biblical Literature with a specialization in Psychology and Counseling from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri and a Masters of Theology and Anglican Communion Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Parker is  currently a student at the  University of Oxford, Wycliffe Hall completing a Master of Theology (Applied).
